Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase share losses contribute to Dow's 82-point drop

Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday afternoon. Shares of Goldman Sachs

and JPMorgan Chase

are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow

was most recently trading 82 points (0.3%) lower. Goldman Sachs’s shares are down $7.21 (2.3%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have declined $1.66, or 1.5%, combining for a roughly 58-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Verizon Communications Inc.
Walt Disney
and Coca-Cola
A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
