Dow's 234-point drop led by losses for Travelers, Boeing stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Monday afternoon with shares of Travelers and Boeing delivering the stiffest headwinds for the blue-chip average. The Dow

was most recently trading 234 points, or 0.8%, lower, as shares of Travelers

and Boeing

are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Travelers’s shares have declined $4.37 (2.8%) while those of Boeing have declined $3.23, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 50-point drag on the Dow. Goldman Sachs
JPMorgan Chase
and American Express

are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
