Dow down 225 points on losses for shares of Travelers, Boeing

Dragged down by declines for shares of Travelers and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Monday afternoon. The Dow

was most recently trading 227 points (0.8%) lower, as shares of Travelers

and Boeing

have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Travelers’s shares are down $4.63, or 3.0%, while those of Boeing are off $3.40 (2.6%), combining for a roughly 53-point drag on the Dow. Chevron
Goldman Sachs
and JPMorgan Chase

are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
